2-5-14 Misako Aoki Lecture at Japanese Society

Back in February I attended a lecture for the famous face of BTSSB (Baby the stars shine bright) Misako Aoki. It was a nice lecture but the weather omg >.<!!!. We just had a minor snow storm and the weather was shifting back and forth between warm and FRREEZZIIINGG. I was going to dress regular for this event but I wanted to dress in Loli. I was just so happy I didn't freeze my petticoat off >.<

It was a pretty full room. I was suppose to meet up with some friends but I reached earlier and waited for them to arrive.  While waiting for the lecture to start I was briefly interviewed by a japanese writer. I was so nervous I had no idea what to say. >.< After a couple of minutes the lecture began.

12-7-13 ILD: International Lolita Day

I feel as if every time I begin a blogpost I always begin with, "This post is long over due!!!" lol ....Even though it is! But Hello followers both old and new! <3 On December 7th, I was able to attend a frilly meet for International Lolita day. For those who have no knowledge to the significance behind this Holiday I offer a explanation. International Lolita day also know as ILD is a unofficially Holiday for Lolitas all over the world. Its starts I believe every first Saturday In December. This is also a biannual holiday as well so there is also a summer celebration as well.

This ILD meet was held at Kitchenette. Kitchenette is a beautiful Bakery/cafe that not only possesses a very pleasant atmosphere but also delicious treats. I was a tad bit late because of the trains and getting last minute things in order (Yup, we all know, #girlproblems.) As soon as I, as well as others arrived, the food was served.

Japanese Fashion Meet~ 1-4-13

Hope you all are having a great start to the New Years!

This past weekend I attended a J Fashion meet. My friend had invited me to it esp since we haven't hung out in a while. Before attending the meet I had to wake up early to meet with a seller. Afterwards me and my friend headed to China Town. I noticed alot of stores are starting to close down now. =/ I just hope they will bring in more stores esp accessory stores. We went into one in particular. It's fused with a super market. Downstairs is the Supermarket and upstairs is where the Beauty & Accessory section is.

While we were looking around we came across a cute night light section but one of these few night lights sure wasn't cute at all. More so it was pretty creepy to me.

I don't know about you guys but this particular nightlight would seriously give me nightmares. I couldn't imagine waking up at night, and turning over in my bed, to see this. Especially as a kid. -___-; I wouldn't look at pandas the same....

One thing I love about this beauty store is the assortment of makeup. Especially the Dolly Wink brand.

I have yet to try the new line but I am currently interest in buying the following pair as well as restock on some old pairs.  I love Dolly wink lashes because they last pretty long due to the strong band. The bottom lashes for this brand are a bit fragile though.  You have to be extremely careful with not only removing them from the package but also removing them from your Lower lash line after use. Even with their fragile nature they look very natural.

After looking around at some more stores we headed towards the meeting location for the event. On the way I found a nice Bowler Hat from H&M. Couldn't resist it!!! esp since it actually fitted perfectly on my huge head.I wanted one for so loonggg. After H&M we saw we were on a time crunch so we  walked pretty quickly to received some free tote bags from the store Desigual but kept going straight. We were a little late for the meet. -10 minutes to be exact- thanks to all the tourist and shoppers so when we reached the park no one was there. So as a result we headed to the 2nd meeting location to once again find no one. My friend had to post on the event page luckily one person responded and stated where they were so we went towards that location to meet up with them.

Let Me Start Off By Saying.....

☆:.｡. HAPPY NEW YEARSS!!!! o(≧▽≦)o .｡.:☆

Eh-I Could really care less for New Years though.lol I seemed to have started it with the same bad luck, and same situations from the Old Years...With the help of some Holiday Cooking, I have totally burned 3 finger tips cooking and sliced the other one by trying to swap a mosquito with a broom.... Yup yup...(no This does not mean I'm a bad cook! Lmao-Real Cooks get Bruisesssss!!!!!! *Super hero stance* >:3) lol


Even by Starting out the New Years the way I have I am still hoping for a better one. I want to work towards better friendships, better relationships, better grades in school, find a job and career, and work on a better me. =) I'm hoping this year I can have more Happiness, and better memories that I can always reflect back on when I'm all mopey and feeling like giving up. =) This New Years is for me to break out of my Mindset and Challenge myself, as well as also prove to myself I'm better than just settling. I wanna be on top of the world! Muahahaha! Ok moving on now...lol


This year, I'm taking a good look at my style and I realize.....it needs some revisions. With the addition of weight gain & school, I haven't been able to really take control of the way I dress because I didn't have time, and when I did I found nothing but the crappiest clothing, or was broke(Yup College life T_T) So as a result I vowed to shop with a more fashionable eye. I'm hoping to burst out of my shell and become more stylish and more comfortable in my clothing =]

I have A HUGE Shopping list for this year. Beside finding better clothes I wanted to buy some contacts(circle lens & Freshlook's contacts in Sterling Grey), buy a sewing machine, update my lolita & Gal wardrobe, and start building my make-up kit so I can continue freelancing as a make-up artist.

Yesterday I went shopping and found some cute sweaters:

I would of brought this shirt in every color they had if I could. If I could go back, I would love the Grey and Black to this.

I feel to go back and buy the other version to this shirt. I LOVE IT!!! lol

Wish I could of captured the flowy-ness of this garment. Its Has a really beautiful shape to it!

 Along with just buying a few shirts I brought some new make-up. I'm the type of person that likes to restock on things before they run out :)

If your ever looking for an inexpensive eyeliner. I STRONGLY recommend this one. Yes I have tried them all, M.A.C.'s Fluidline, Urban Decay's liquid liner, and etc but I never experienced a liner such as this. When It says 24 hrs, it MEANS 24 hours! It's really waterproof and smudge proof! (don't take smudge proof to the extreme though.lol Yes if you make a mistake and rub your eyes once or twice it wont budge! but 3 & 4..you will have to fix your eyeshadow. but the intensity of color for the line will stay the same :) Minor fixing^^) I am in looove with this eyeliner!  Maybelline really outdid themselves! xD

I usually use Maybelline's Mascara in XXL but decided to test out this one. I have yet to try it but I really hope it doesn't burn my eyes. Lately my eyes been acting a bit sensitive to certain mascaras.=/  I realize when I go out shopping for mascara the packaging hardly says "Hypoallergenic" anymore =/

Lately I've been really getting into Nail art! I ordered some molds and cannot wait to receive them. I still have some more supplies to buy like colored acrylic powder, Activator, Clear false Nails, and more Rhinestones. I'm hoping for this break I can be pre-occupied by building my skills. What do I have to say after my first try? THIS SURE AIN'T EASY! I had respect for Nail Tech's before but it wasn't until after I finish these that my respect quadrupled! xD Even though I suffered through these...I still enjoyed making them. I remember getting so pissed when I applied the topcoat...it totally smudged the black polka dots into the white(shown on bottom right nail)..lol I wanted to cry XD but like I said this was so much fun and I cannot wait to design some more!

Besides this nothing new has popped into my life. Still waiting for the excitement!

~Body Line Ordering~

Seriously Choosing a Skirt is so damn hard! Today I finally decided what Items I would Order From BodyLine. As of Tonight these are what I shall be awaiting:

I had a REALLY hard time deciding what freaking color I wanted! I was head over heels for the pink and wanted the JSK in the mint green.(Yeah with my measurements..That seriously wasn't happening TUT) I went back and fort between the Pink Skirt and the Blue skirt. So My final color choice!? It is Blue! lol

Shoes:

I already own the black to these but their so small >.> I love these so much I decided to order them in Red but this time, I'm ordering a size bigger. (BL always sucks for almost never having my size!)

I'm also planning to order these Tea Party shoes.

Cute eh? These little buggers are gonna cost me $9 extras due to my big ass feet! *sigh* The Trials and budget tribulations of a Lolita addict! lol

After this order I will need to save for some Blouses and Cutsews!
