12-7-13 ILD: International Lolita Day

I feel as if every time I begin a blogpost I always begin with, "This post is long over due!!!" lol ....Even though it is! But Hello followers both old and new! <3 On December 7th, I was able to attend a frilly meet for International Lolita day. For those who have no knowledge to the significance behind this Holiday I offer a explanation. International Lolita day also know as ILD is a unofficially Holiday for Lolitas all over the world. Its starts I believe every first Saturday In December. This is also a biannual holiday as well so there is also a summer celebration as well.

This ILD meet was held at Kitchenette. Kitchenette is a beautiful Bakery/cafe that not only possesses a very pleasant atmosphere but also delicious treats. I was a tad bit late because of the trains and getting last minute things in order (Yup, we all know, #girlproblems.) As soon as I, as well as others arrived, the food was served.

Tuna, cheese, and turkey sandwiches 

They gave us some awesome spreads for the scones. The strawberry butter spread was so good. So good (;-;)

The pink lemonade was also very delicious.Especially the cute glass jars they were served in. After a while of stuffing our faces, Dalin, our host, decided to start the gift exchange. 

I received a cute little broach. The details are so beautiful!

Nany's faces are hilarious. She received a angelic pretty candy jar.

While we were in the middle of the gift exchange, we were served this wonderful slice of perfection.<3 Then it was more opening of gifts!

After the lovely brunch we all headed towards the train station to go to The Dove Parlor. We also took some pictures.

After a short train right and walk we arrived at The Dove Parlor. The DOP was a very relaxing experience. It has a very dim, and intimate ambiance- also due to the limited amount of candlelight it was extremely hard to get good photos.

As some lolis enjoyed each others company. I decided to go take outfit shots outside with my friend.

 I wasn't too happy about my outfit. I had placed a Taobao order but my items were still in the process of being made. ;___;)

It was so cold that night. It was two nights in a row the weather was so harsh! We decided to head  back inside to warm up a bit but then...

After a lovely night, my friend and I decided to head to Tkettle to get some warm bubble teas and some grub.

After this we decided to walk to the train station to go home. Overall it was one awesome Loli day and I can't wait for the others! ~Till next time I leave you with some selfies.
