Summer Gyaru Meet - July 13 2013 (Warning Pic HEAVY)

Hello everyone! Long time no post!

This past weekend I attended a event I was looking forward to for quite some time!

I haven't been to a gal meet since January of this year so it was quite appreciated when a event popped up! I have been so busy with work and not having time for myself so I needed something like this to escape the work mindset.

This was my gyaru makeup look for the day. I was suppose to do a rokku look but lack of accessories brought forth this onee/ basic tsuyome isnpired gyaru look. Which I have no problem with. I just need to get myself some more rokku accessores and etc.

We meet up in the city by Madison square garden, by the time I reached everyone was already there smiling and taking pictures so just from the energy alone I knew it was going to be a great day. When I met up with the rest of the gals I realized I looked so basic lol So Tama suggested I do Hime along with her so I said why not!? Especially since I love Hime and Lolita- As a result me, hannah, and tama headed towards Tama's hotel room where I was given a hime make over.lol

We took some pictures-more like 2-in the bathroom then headed back outside to the girls where we took loads of photos.

After taking pictures we all decided to go get a slice of pizza because most of us hadn't ate.

After some harassment from tourist as well as some New yorkers we finally reached the Pizza place and boy was it HOT in THURR. I felt so bad for the people who had to work there. I don't understand why they had to work in such extreme heat -__-. While we ate we took some more pictures.

 Seriously, everybody had such nice nail art. I miss my nails. They won't allow me to do anything with them at work. The torture of no creativity.

After some nail fixing we decided to leave and head to China Town but WAIT- not before a tourist shot!

After lisa found what she was looking for we finally made it to china Town. For more pictures with tourist lol then off to the Elizabeth center where makeup touchups were made.

Leaving China Town

By the time we reached China Town most of the shops were closed and even purikura was as well. So we all left and headed to some shopping areas. The first stop one of my favorite shops oo35mm. Which was a shop I went to during the last Gyaru meet.

After this we all went to another store looked around and shopped some more.

I thought this was so sweet. Lisa got stopped by this woman because she was amazed by her nails lol Memorable moment. We left the shop then went to eat.

By the time we went into a specific restaurant we all tired to fit around one table the workers were nice enough to reserve for us but it was just not happening. So I just suggested we go somewhere else. The place I had in mind was Tkettle. One of my favorite spots on Astor place. So we made our way through little Italy.

Sidenote- I was getting threaten as a result of how long the walk was lol. While we were walking through little Italy people were staring then started cheering lol what was even more funny was before we reached astors wine shop there were two drunk guys looking at us from a window pointing so I pointed back at them then we started cheering while they fist pumped. LOL

As soon as we reached Tkettle I was soooooo thrirsttyyyyyyy!!! hbjkcekvk at the heattt!

As you can see Phillica was HUNNGRYYYYYY LOL pork catsu, udon noodles, calamari, squid balls, and fish cakes. If you ever go to Tkettle order the fishcakes! Its a MUST they are so GOOD!

Afterwards we looked around in some local stores then said our goodbyes. I headed by tamas to change, and before I left we had a nice conversation. 

This meet was something that I needed and I can not wait for the next one. I met some awesome people and had a great time. Till next time, I leave you with my purchases. ;D
