Yesterday I attended my first Gal meet. (^O^)/

I was pretty excited for this one considering it would be my first. I had no idea what costume to get, I wanted to be a sexy officer but just decided to dress in Lolita. I was hoping to network and meet some Gals in my state but unfortunately not that many showed up. I kinda have a feeling it's hurricane Sandy's fault lol. The weather was a little weird also. It started out warm then around noon it got so cold then humid. I seriously don't know whats going on but this weather is making me quite sick... Regardless of the sucky weather though it was pretty fun. I first met up with a gal who goes by Glee, moments later Usagi showed up. We all decided to take a seat in Bryant park and wait for more Gals to show up.

While we were sitting and having a convo we were approached by this sweet cali guy. He just moved to the area and decided to explore Bryant park's holiday Market. Since he was new and also into Anime, and Japanese fashion so we decided to take him to Kinokuniya.

Hello everyone ^_^,

Guess what ya'll, I GOTZ a Job! lol

However,

I do not know how long I will stay employed because business isn't doing so well sadly. With the addition to that I am a bit stressed with school and work. Not a good combo...Not a good combo at all.  Its coming down to the last 4 classes of college before I graduate and my minds not there. "Senioritis" or more so I feel a little lost with where I see myself in the world. I feel like for this year my so call "idea" of how I see myself in the future is getting tested. I'm starting to gain exposure to new and different things and I just feel like I am rebuilding myself piece by piece. I don't know whats going on. I like some parts of it but I am also afraid of the other parts but, I'm just gonna stay positive and pray on it. Hopefully my true path will be shown to me 

Anywho, enough with my deep talk lol.

Seriously can't believe I was so lucccckkkkkky!!! When I was going for the tickets the website was acting up so damn much I didnt even think I was going to get one then with hope, I was able to make a purchase...I will let you know right now I am sooo hyped! I seriously can't wait to see them!!! Just a few more weeks to go! My Tae Tae <3

These Nicka K lipsticks are pretty awesome, for- Guess the price!- ONE D-O-L-L-A-R! They're very pigmented and last pretty long! I mean, thats pretty good for $1 Lipsticks. I would recommend this if your a beginner makeup artist for your kit. The color choices are perfect!

I also purchased False eyelashes from Da Vinci. Basically, these are Red Cherry dupes. They come in similar styles as Red Cherry's. These are pretty good lashes though. You do have to be careful with them on the account of the band is kinda weak. But I still will recommend these. They're truly not bad!

...Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics (OCC) Lip tars....I'm turning into a OCC addict lol. I'm planning a shoot soon for class and I wanted some fall inspired lipsticks. So why not turn to OCC, right? lol I picked up 3 colors so far and hopefully will run back for some more. I purchased the colors in (from right to left) Psycho, Strumpet, and Lydia. I tried all so far and I love all!  They are extremely pigmented, with vibrant colors, and apply to a very smooth and matt finish. If your gonna try these though make sure to use a small amount. Trust me, a little goes a long way. Also exfoliating the lips before will also help for a better, neater application. Think I might make a post soon including swatch test of the OCC Lip tars.

Happie nuts Gyaru Magazines. September and October Issue.    

Next thing to be purchase, Happie nuts. I missed my Happie Nuts Man! I missed out on so many issues to this mag its not even funny -Especially since it's starting to get so popular now! It's extremely hard sometimes to even find a back issue. I used to be able to purchase back issues as well as new issues in the same day but now thats totally impossible. >.> Anywho, I just hope as of now that I will be able to get my collection back and running again!

Eos Puffy three tone grey & Eos Super nudy grey    

I was also lucky to finally make a purchase on something I've been wanting for so loong!!! New Circle lens! I took advantage of Kiwiberry1's 50% of sale and decided to make a purchase. These two lens ( from top to bottom) are the EOS Puffy three tone Greys and the EOS Super Nudy Grey's. I also ordered the EOS Puffy three tones is Green but since there was a mistake made in my order I have to wait for the Green ones to be shipped. So Look out for 2, hopefully three reviews!

Geo Super Angel Brown- Circle lens Review!

Haven't been updating but I'm back with a circle lens review!

A few month ago I purchased my first circle lens from Candy Jelly Eyes.

This is a new shop that recently opened btw. I decided to buy two pairs of lenses-one for me and another for a friend as a Christmas present. I was looking for a dolly eye look so I chose Geo's Super Angel Grey lens.

***Seriously guys, before you make a purchase on any type of contact lenses online make sure you make an appointment and see an optometrist FIRST! It's best to get your eyes checked! It is extreemmmmlllyyy important to learn proper eye care while dealing with contacts especially what signs to look out for incase of lens damage. Not knowing these types of precautions can lead to serious cornea damage! Losing or damaging your vision to look cute isn't worth it. $20 dollars compared to a cornea transplant surgery that may cost $2000 and up, when you could of saved up $80-$100 for a proper eye exam...yeahhh... Be safe when it comes to your eyes!***

But on to the review!

So I ordered these lens within a batch order. It took one month for the order to process straight from Geo with an additional week for me to receive them. Shipping was pretty fast and the packaging was neatly put together. The 4 vials came in a securely shut envelope with tons of bubble wrap surrounding it. As a result there were no damages to the vials. Since I ordered these lenses during a promotional sale there were no free lens case offered. After I received them I pre-soaked them with Opti-Free Replenish Multi-Purpose Disinfecting Solution.

These lens offer a basic dolly eye effect. If you are looking for a lens in between extremely noticeable and subtle I would recommend these. The diameter of these lenses are 14.5. Since I already have such big eyes (lol) it gives a nice change. It also fills out the bottom portion of my sclera- you know the white space of the eye.  (。-ω-)ﾉ･ﾟﾟ･｡

Color & Design:8/10
Even though I wanted the grey ones, I still consider the brown to have a nice vibrant color. It is very saturated and the color can resemble a warm orangey brown.

Comfort: 7/10
These lenses were pretty drying. I found myself using eye drops frequently, to the point I was suspicious that they were damage so as a result I stop wearing them.

You may be thinking...Hey! Did my eyes deceive me? (⊙０⊙) Did I read this entry wrong?(」ﾟヘﾟ)」 Didn't you mentioned you ordered grey lens? Why are they brown? Well funny story...Ok...it isn't funny at all but there was a mix up with my order. The seller made a mistake and gave me the wrong color. By the time I contacted her there was a problem with her email address.  I happend to find the new email address so I sent her an email regarding the order and she was more than willing to offer me a refund but in the end I just decided to keep the lens instead.

Hello everyone,

Nothing's really been going on in my life. I recently returned to school and my summer was a total waste. I had so many goals-well a couple of goals-that I wanted to meet for this past summer but that totally did not happen. I just hope the following summer does not end up the same =/ I only did a handful of things such as hang out with some friends, fully loose some, work on some nails, and just been stressed with Family crap. But that's life right? Can't pick and choose your battles...

So For the summer I worked on this set:

During the festival I was able to to get two issues of JJ Magazine on sale for like 5 dollars. I was super excited because One of these issues I wanted to buy a while back but never got the chance too. Imagine how appreciative I was when I saw it in the sale box xD. I love JJ for the fashion. These issues had some really nice summer cords.

Recently OCC, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics had a grand opening in New York and I attended. OCC is a upcoming cosmetics line who are well known for their lip tars and pigments. The night before I did my nails using lace for the first time:

This was my first time messing with lace and I was pretty please with the results. I just wished I had a slimmer scissors so I could trim certain areas of the lace a bit more.

The OCC Opening was ok, Alot of ppl hardly came because of the rain, and also I heard there was a press party the night before so I guess some of the hype died down? =/ Most of the visitors that attended just came and left. I met some cool people though and it was funny because, besides the love of makeup, we shared the same interest and they live not to far from me. That was just crazy.lol

I love their Lip tars!!! I tried on 4 colors and loved them all. But at the end of the night I walked away with FEMME. Femme appears as a soft petal pink color. I love pink shades because they complement my skin tone alot. When I go back I will like to buy Marlot, Hush, and Grandma(lol) Trust me the color has no ties to the names.lol

Oh btw I met Lauren aka the Queen of Blending. I was always a fan, as so many, of her fawless makeup application. She was pretty sweet and I enjoyed talking to her. She walked into the store with such a cute watermelon dress.

I couldn't really stay long because I had class to attend. Something I wasn't looking forward too. but lucky for me I already presented so I was able to just sit down, with my coconut bubble tea, and enjoy the other presentations. =)

I also finally received my order from clobbaonline.com...well some of what I ordered =/ Hopefully in my next post I can do a review. I am still currently waiting on a additional dress to be made.

Been One Loooooong week!

I've been so tired. =( I just Started school On Monday and I'm not so thrilled..

I'm just tired of my school and hoping this semester can go back quickly...

I Also don't know what I've been doing lately but I have been attracting alot of pervs. I had one dirty man staring at me in the bus while licking his lips.  I thought I was saved when a taller guy stood in front of him but then he himself started giving me the "Let me undress you with my eyes stare" He wouldn't even stop! I was so mad! Later on in the week I got hit on by another guy(while trying carefully to walk across ice!) and on the same day- while I was on the train some random man wouldn't stop staring at me on the platform. I turned back to look at him to see what the hell was his problem and he wouldn't stop smiling.. The idiot went into the same cart as me and then while I was standing had the audacity to freakin bend my arm to pull off a hair strand that belonged to a Jewish man that bumped into me mistakenly.. Seriously, I don't understand what the hell is going on with these guys around my neighborhood. But this shit is making me mad! Everytime I try to avoid this nonsense it keeps on coming my way. That day I was sick..Up to now, All I think about is how I wish I had the strength to kick that man in the balls..Who are you to put your hands on me? I don't even know who you are. Next thing you know he would want to make people think I know him to try something foolish...It might look like a friendly gesture but it was just a way for him to try and be a perv...It just gets me so mad to know theres guys out their with just one thing on their minds..."S*x"....How the Hell can you wake up every morning with only that thought on your mind? That just seriously sickens me..it really does..

Overall I've Just been freakin stressed...I Haven't been in the best positive mood. I'm hoping real soon things will start to go better for me because now I've just been having the worst of luck....

Valentines Day Is coming up and I decided to just mess around with some looks:

Lately I've been getting really deeply motivated to practice nail art..I recieved some nail molds and wanted to test them out with plain nail polish. This produced these:

Man So many things went wrong with these. First off one of the hearts deflated on me.lol and when I applied the top coat it smeared the nail polish. I think I need to buy a new top coat.lol Even when I apply one coat it tends to smear and whats most funny is... THE NAIL POLISH IS DRY!!! WTF!? DX

Later on in the week I felt so beat up with how these came up and tried my luck again with a different style:

I felt these came out soooo much better. (even though some of the stripes could of been done much neater.lol) It was only 4 days since I finished them and my mom went on my stand where I left them to charge her phone. Know what happened next? She dropped 2 of them! Up to now I still can't find one of them! I worked so freakin hard on these! Like come on!!!!!!! ashei3hedeabwdduehzio!!!!!! >_<

See as I said, I've been having the worst of luck for this week! I just hope things will get better =/

Let Me Start Off By Saying.....

Eh-I Could really care less for New Years though.lol I seemed to have started it with the same bad luck, and same situations from the Old Years...With the help of some Holiday Cooking, I have totally burned 3 finger tips cooking and sliced the other one by trying to swap a mosquito with a broom.... Yup yup...(no This does not mean I'm a bad cook! Lmao-Real Cooks get Bruisesssss!!!!!! *Super hero stance* >:3) lol


Even by Starting out the New Years the way I have I am still hoping for a better one. I want to work towards better friendships, better relationships, better grades in school, find a job and career, and work on a better me. =) I'm hoping this year I can have more Happiness, and better memories that I can always reflect back on when I'm all mopey and feeling like giving up. =) This New Years is for me to break out of my Mindset and Challenge myself, as well as also prove to myself I'm better than just settling. I wanna be on top of the world! Muahahaha! Ok moving on now...lol


This year, I'm taking a good look at my style and I realize.....it needs some revisions. With the addition of weight gain & school, I haven't been able to really take control of the way I dress because I didn't have time, and when I did I found nothing but the crappiest clothing, or was broke(Yup College life T_T) So as a result I vowed to shop with a more fashionable eye. I'm hoping to burst out of my shell and become more stylish and more comfortable in my clothing =]

I have A HUGE Shopping list for this year. Beside finding better clothes I wanted to buy some contacts(circle lens & Freshlook's contacts in Sterling Grey), buy a sewing machine, update my lolita & Gal wardrobe, and start building my make-up kit so I can continue freelancing as a make-up artist.

Yesterday I went shopping and found some cute sweaters:

I would of brought this shirt in every color they had if I could. If I could go back, I would love the Grey and Black to this.

I feel to go back and buy the other version to this shirt. I LOVE IT!!! lol

Wish I could of captured the flowy-ness of this garment. Its Has a really beautiful shape to it!

 Along with just buying a few shirts I brought some new make-up. I'm the type of person that likes to restock on things before they run out :)

If your ever looking for an inexpensive eyeliner. I STRONGLY recommend this one. Yes I have tried them all, M.A.C.'s Fluidline, Urban Decay's liquid liner, and etc but I never experienced a liner such as this. When It says 24 hrs, it MEANS 24 hours! It's really waterproof and smudge proof! (don't take smudge proof to the extreme though.lol Yes if you make a mistake and rub your eyes once or twice it wont budge! but 3 & 4..you will have to fix your eyeshadow. but the intensity of color for the line will stay the same :) Minor fixing^^) I am in looove with this eyeliner!  Maybelline really outdid themselves! xD

I usually use Maybelline's Mascara in XXL but decided to test out this one. I have yet to try it but I really hope it doesn't burn my eyes. Lately my eyes been acting a bit sensitive to certain mascaras.=/  I realize when I go out shopping for mascara the packaging hardly says "Hypoallergenic" anymore =/

Lately I've been really getting into Nail art! I ordered some molds and cannot wait to receive them. I still have some more supplies to buy like colored acrylic powder, Activator, Clear false Nails, and more Rhinestones. I'm hoping for this break I can be pre-occupied by building my skills. What do I have to say after my first try? THIS SURE AIN'T EASY! I had respect for Nail Tech's before but it wasn't until after I finish these that my respect quadrupled! xD Even though I suffered through these...I still enjoyed making them. I remember getting so pissed when I applied the topcoat...it totally smudged the black polka dots into the white(shown on bottom right nail)..lol I wanted to cry XD but like I said this was so much fun and I cannot wait to design some more!

Besides this nothing new has popped into my life. Still waiting for the excitement!

~Haven't Updated In A While.lol

Sometimes I wonder what's the the point of Keeping a blog when I don't Update!

Anywhos.....

Nothing much has been going on in my life really...I'm just happy to have finished my semester in college. I was really stressed out for this semester but manage to pull of 2 A's, a A-, and a B-. I wish I could of received straight A+'s but you can't have it all right?

Besides Passing the semester my Birthday passed! I am now 21 years old..legal to drink! To bad I don't care for it. xD

My Boyfriend was sweet enough to host a surprise birthday dinner at my favorite Japanese restaurant and he brought me the following gifts:

Both gifts I appreciate so much. I was doing nothing but talking about how much I love these nails and whats great was I was able to receive them! The last Time I looked back they were out of stock >_< Since Its the holidays and I've been doing alot of baking I haven't been able to put them on. I'm not even sure If I want to put them on...They're too cuteeee and I don't wanna ruin them >w<

My mom was nice enough to buy me some boots also:

My feet are so huge it was a pain to break these in >_< But the grip at the bottom is sooooo amazing! It makes me feel as if I could Climb Mountains xD

 I original wanted these boots in this beautiful saturated brown shade but they were all sold out in my size. Finding shoes in my size is hard T_T These are soooooo comfy. Occasional they do hurt my feet but its nothing a better gel can't help.:)

For my birthday I was tricked to expect a date with my boyfriend, so as a result I tried to sex-a-fiy myself.(lol) I tried to experiment with Gal Make and for the First time I tried on my Dolly Winks Eyelashes.

I LOOOVEEE these Eyelashes to death. At first I hated the Clear band they used but the black eyelash glue fixed it up. I think it was so clever the fact that they used a clear piece of plastic instead of a track for the Lashes.One thing I notice- it made the lashes more durable and they didn't fall out of shape as American brand lashes do. They Designed these in a very smart way! I did need alot to make this look more gyaru..Like of course...circle lenses and some bottom lashes. but I'm not even going to beat myself up over it. Its nothing I can't invest on in the future and re-try the look. Here's a full face shot:

Ehh as I said nothings really been new. Just I've been thinking over incorporating Gal Style in my personal style. It's really cute! I just know for now my wardrobe needs a HUUUUUGGEEEE fixing...Its gonna be pretty hectic trying to balance two fashion styles. Lolita and Gal but I really don't mind trying. :)
